Don José "Pepin" Garcia behind the brand has long experience in the cigar industry when he was born in Cuba and his entire family worked with cigars and tobacco. He started working as a 11-year-old in the family factory in Báez in 1961 and later became both "master roles" and "master blender". In 2001, he moved to Nicaragua and the following year he launched My Father Cigars.
