Jose Blanco has been in the cigar industry for decades and is one of the most well-respected tobacco men. He truly embodies a passion for the fine cigar and now he can proudly represent his name with his first cigar brand under his own cigar company. You may remember him from his days at La Aurora or when he developed CyB during his tenure at Joya de Nicaragua, but Señorial represents a brand under his complete control. Señorial By José Blanco uses long filler all from the Dominican Republic from Tabacalera Palma’s own farms. Furthermore, the production is overseen by his cousin Jochi Blanco who owns Tabacalera Palma (makers of Cigar Aficonado's No. 2 Cigar of the Year for 2013, Aging Room Quattro). Señorial has a Habano seed wrapper from Ecuador and a Binder from Esteli, Nicaragua.
This is a full-bodied and truly full-flavored cigar. The flavors are rich and complex throughout the smoke with some spice and a hint of sweetness. The cigar has a rich and pleasant aroma and ends with a good long finish. This cigar gets 90 days of aging.
